Did someone say Disney props?
Are you planning a Disney photography session or your wedding day? Consider adding some fun elements to add life to your final image gallery with this simple photo hack. Disney inspired props.
Adding your personality to your photos has never been easier and here are a few way that you can do so for your upcoming photo shoot. Ready? Let’s go!
Here are my top 5 Disney props that I like to suggest to clients.
Prop #1: Mickey Balloons
A simple and classic way to add both colour and fun to your gallery. While I do prefer the standard clear ones with the coloured balloons on the inside, I know you can also get some some foil ones with Mickey and Minnie’s face printed on them. Both are excellent options depending on the type of photos that you are wanting.
I have also seen this be done for wedding party members to hold instead of bouquets, and thought it was an awesome and unique idea.
Prop #2: Mickey Ice Cream Bar
These delicious treats are not only a fun element to add into your session but they are also a great way to cool down during the warm summer months at the parks. We will spend a few minutes getting some fun detail shots before we dive into eating them. While you do run the risk of getting a not so perfect set of ears, it is the thought that counts!
Prop #3: Mickey Ears
A classic staple to any outfit is the perfectly placed set of Mickey ears. Honestly, there are hundreds of styles for sale at the Walt Disney World Resorts and Parks, but there are many home made options as well to really personalize it to your style. Add these to your wedding day gift bags for your wedding party as well for some added fun to your Disney wedding images.
Prop #4: Mickey Rice Krispy Treats
Okay, so clearly I love Disney snacks, but they really do work for everything in life, right? While the ones pictured aren’t on sticks, Disney does offer ones like that. They also come in different colours and flavoured chocolate so you can customize what you want for your photos.
Prop #5: Mickey Hands
Put your hands up in the air if you are having a good time writing down all these fun Disney inspired props for your photos. I love that this adorable couple showed up in these fun shirts but also brought along some Mickey hands for this shot specifically! They were the perfect option and I loved how they added some fun to this ride series.
Still want more options? Try adding in a lightsaber, popcorn, matching shirts or bubbles. Honestly, there are many ways to add some Disney fun into your gallery and these are just a few to get your brainstorming going.
